Schooling being an influence on mu life right now!

School at this point has a major impact on my life. It influences everything I do and helps me try to succeed in mapping out my future. I feel that school should have a major influence in any point in ones life. Especially if they are attending school. Currently I am trying to pursue a future in pharmacy. Im in school in Canada as well as taking these courses at Kaplan.
School has always been very important to me whenever I do any school work I put 110% into it because I know that one day down the line it will matter. It is important to me because I find that all in all everything you do in School will someday affect your future.

Thoughts on Plagiarism

Based upon the reading on plagiarism I believe that we all need to cite and furthermore if we do not know, learn how to cite our sources correctly.
Anything that you use from an outside source must be cited. It's just a whole lot easier I find if we abide by the rules of writing and moreover any offenses that may occur if we do not follow them.
I can understand how writing a paper is hard work, it takes time and a lot of effort and sometimes to be honest once you inih writing your so happy it's done you forget about citing and may possibly get in trouble for plagiarism. If you have your citing, your paraphrasing and summarization for the paper done possibly before for a rough copy it is easier to remember because you already have it writen down. It's easier an Les of a hassal to worry about, especially for the writer.

Thoughts on Online Schooling

I have done a lot of online schooling threw the years. In grade 12 I took all my sciences online: Biology, Physics and Chemistry. This is my 4th course online threw Kaplan University. It is much different from my other courses that I have taken but good different. I enjoy online schooling much better than normal in class schooling. I enjoy the flexibility that comes with it and the style of the courses. Even more so i find the sense of independence that I have when I do my courses. I also enjoy the community that surrounds each course. With each new course comes new classmates, new material and better wide spread of students from around the world.
I recommend anyone who does not enjoy sitting in a classroom to take up and try online schooling.

A Welcome to All

Hello Everyone
I have to say this is very new to me. I have never done a blog before so bare with me. My name is Demetra I am 21 years of age on September 12. I have 3 brothers and a mother and just recently lost my father. But you all should know of this from the Introduction post on the course. This is my fourth or fifth course from Kaplan University that I am doing so I feel like I am very comfortable with everything and know somewhat how to manage time and schedules. I am currently in Greece more specific Sparta. Just for the summer for a family vacation and so far it has been wonderful. Beautiful weather, amazing beaches and so much more to come considering I leave in another month.
